FREE LIVE WORKSHOP: The Style Decoder
Do you have a wardrobe full of clothes, but your outfit success rate is hit and miss?
Or are you not even sure what your style is any more?
On Tuesday, November 17th, at 6:30 pm UK time, I’m hosting a free live workshop to help you start working out what’s going on with your outfits, why some work and some don’t, so getting dressed feels less like a guessing game and the gap between where you are now and how you want to feel when you get dressed starts to close.

"Before working with Sarah, I dreaded getting dressed every day, and nothing I wore really felt like me. Sarah helped me feel stylish and creative with my clothing for the first time in my life, and now getting dressed makes me feel bold, confident, and excited to be seen in the world."
– Heidi, The Style Shift
If I asked you:
“How do you want to feel in your outfits when you walk into a room, whether it’s a party, a work thing, a date, or simply having lunch with friends?” you’d probably say things like:
“I want to feel put together”
“I want to feel like I know what I’m doing with my style”
“I want to feel confident and have a bit of zing about me”
“I want to feel F*ck Yeah!”
“I just want to feel like myself”.
But right now, in your day-to-day experience, you do not consistently feel this way.
And it’s not because you haven’t got enough clothes; you’ve probably got a wardrobe full of them (maybe even some with the labels still on), yet even with so many options, getting dressed tends to go one of two ways:
The same safe outfits on repeat, even though you don’t love them
Or outfits that are hit and miss. Some days it works, some days it doesn’t, and you can’t tell why yet
So you often find yourself in front of the mirror in a negative spiral about why nothing feels right…
“Ugh, I just have no style”
“It must be my body shape .”
“It’s because I’m older; nothing looks good”.
Or “my wardrobe is full of crap”
But really it’s none of those.
From working with women, I know there are two things nobody ever told you that you need to understand to have great personal style:
1. What makes an outfit feel like you.
The personal details of what makes an outfit really click for you won’t be the same as what works for me or Barbara from Instagram!
That’s why copying others' style doesn’t work, because there’s more to why an outfit works for someone than the clothes themselves.
2. What makes an outfit work for you, beyond the old-fashioned rule
This is where learning the skill of styling comes in so you can repeatedly put outfits together that look and feel pulled together and right for you.
It’s learning:
How proportions and lines work, so you can create the silhouettes that make you feel F*ck Yeah
Styling principles that make any outfit feel cohesive, whatever style story you’re wearing
Baseline recipes you can repeat and tweak, so you’re not reinventing the wheel every time you get dressed
This interactive workshop is your FIRST STEP towards understanding both, and learning to use your style and your wardrobe in a way that makes you feel F*ck Yeah. We’ll start decoding what’s been keeping you stuck, and what’s already working with your style.
Oh, and if the thought of working out what to wear for the December party season is filling you with dread, this workshop is definitely for you. Because once you start to decode your style, putting together outfits you love starts to feel a lot less of a mystery.
In this workshop, you’ll:
Start getting clearer on what you want your style to do for you, and some of what’s been getting in the way
Become aware of what you’re really asking yourself when you get dressed, and why it’s been keeping you stuck
Decode an outfit you’ve felt really good in, so you can see why it works and turn it into your first repeatable recipe
You’ll leave with:
A clearer sense of what’s been getting in your way
Three questions that put you back in charge of your choices
One outfit you understand inside out
A new way of looking at what’s already in your wardrobe
This is for you if:
Getting dressed has turned into a uniform you don’t like, and you’re bored of yourself in your clothes
You’re experimenting, but it’s hit and miss, and you can’t work out why
Your body has changed, the old outfits don’t work any more, and you’ve started reaching for whatever covers the most
You know you’re far more interesting than your outfits are showing right now, and you’re curious to try something different.
It’s not for you if you’re looking for a cookie-cutter list of what to buy to “be stylish”. This is about understanding what makes an outfit work for you and makes you feel F*ck Yeah, so afterwards you can start repeating that with what’s in already your wardrobe.

"Clothes became fun and, even more importantly, the outfits we were creating felt like a version of myself I'd only ever dreamt of. I went from wanting to hide in the shadows to wanting to shout, scream and be seen! … Do it! Best investment I've made in YEARS.”
– Sarah B, The Style Shift.
Hi, I'm Sarah, I classify myself as a Unicorn Coach!
I’ve spent years coaching people in fitness, nutrition, personal development, dating and relationships. Different subjects, same job: helping them feel good.
And my background is why I knew I had to take a holistic approach to personal styling.
I fell into a “meh”, boring outfits era in my 30s and early 40s. My outfits were “fine”, but they showed no personality and never felt like me. (Glance right for proof!)
My wardrobe was full, but the combinations I put together never quite worked. Now and again I’d land on an outfit that did, but I couldn’t repeat it, so I always ended up back in fine. The inner work I’d been doing had changed who I was on the inside, but my wardrobe was still dressed for the woman I used to be.
Everything changed when I started trusting my own likes and dislikes and spotting the through-lines that made up my personal style.
From there, remixing became easy. I could see how to create outfits that felt exciting, true to me and simple to wear. Clothes I’d ignored for years suddenly worked in new ways, and I actually started saying F*ck Yeah when I looked in the mirror.
